Ethics Conference Focus: Women in Business
Karen M. Garrison, former president and CEO of Pitney Bowes Business Services, and Wilma Goldstein, senior advisor on women's issues for entrepreneurial development at the U.S. Small Business Administration,will be the keynote speakers at the College of Business Center for Ethics and Leadership's 8th annual Business Ethics Conference on April 15, 2008. Scott Tilley has been appointed to a joint position as Associate Professor of Management Information Systems in the College of Business. He is also an Associate Professor of Software Engineering in the Department of Computer Sciences. He has a Ph.D. from the University of Victoria. Full Story

The College of Business is conducting its 10th annual High School Ethics Competition on Friday March 10, 2006. The primary objective of the competition, according to College of Business dean Dr. David Steele, is to provide high school participants a better understanding and appreciation of the increasingly important and complex subject of ethics. Dr. Deborah Carstens, assistant professor of management information systems, has been notified that a journal article she submitted, "Usability Studies of Travel Websites," will be published in the November issue of the Journal of Usability Studies, Issue 1, Volume 1.
